‘Cause what’s Christmas without sugar cookies?

You’ll need:
Vegan butter (we use these sticks)
Sugar
Vanilla extract
Non-dairy milk
White flour
Baking powder
Salt 
Powdered sugar 

Grab some friends and family and get decorating!

Vegan Sugar Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup vegan butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tbs non-dairy milk
  • 1 1/2 cup white flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Icing:

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp non-dairy milk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350˚F.
  • In a small bowl, whisk the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, add the butter, sugars, milk, and vanilla. Beat until combined.
  • Add the flour mixture into the wet mixture and gently combine.
  • Roll out dough on a flour surface and cut out shapes.
  • Bake cookies for 6-8 minutes.
  • For the icing, beat together all ingredients.
  • Decorate with icing, chocolate, sprinkles and friends & family then enjoy!

    Im not even vegan but my sister is and made these last year for Christmas and they were so good. Now my go to recipe for sugar cookies

    I want to make these but wondered which milk you prefer between almond and oat milk? And how many cookies generally come out with this recipe?
