Method
- Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix well.
- Purée everything in a food processor. The mixture should be sticky, but if it seems too wet add a bit more ground flax or oats. You can also freeze the mixture for a bit to more easily handle it.
- Form patties* (should create about 10-12, depending on how big) and place them on a lined and greased pan. Place in freezer for at least 2 hours before cooking.
- Preheat oven 400°F.
- Once oven is preheated, bake burgers for 30 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Finish by transferring each burger to a lightly oiled skillet over high heat for about 5 minutes on each side or until desired crispiness (you can also grill). Top with your fave ingredients and serve on a toasted bun!

*Pro tip- our mom uses peanut butter jar lid sprayed with nonstick spray to form the perfect patty shape!
