Slow Cooker Vegan "Bulgogi"

The easiest vegan "bulgogi" recipe made in a slow cooker that will quickly become a weekly dinner staple in your house!

Ingredients
  

For "bulgogi"
  • 20 oz (560 g) vegan beef crumbles
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp (27 g) brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) mirin
  • 2 tsp (10 ml) sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
For serving (optional)
  • Prepared white rice
  • Green onion, chopped
  • Sesame seeds

Equipment

  • Slow Cooker (we used our Crockpot™ 7QT Design Series Cook & Carry Slow Cooker)

Method
 

  1. Add all ingredients for the "bulgogi" to your Crockpot™ Slow Cooker.
  2. Let cook on low for 3 hours (until the liquid has been absorbed).
  3. Serve as desired! We recommend serving over a bed of rice topped with green onions and sesame seeds.
