Tojang Noodles

This noodle dish is super simple to whip up (with just 5 ingredients total!) but also extremely flavorful thanks to the star of the show, Tojang Soybean Paste.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 16 oz package of linguini pasta gluten-free if desired
  • 1/3 cup (92 g) Tojang Soybean paste
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) low-sodium soy sauce sub tamari for gluten-free
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp (9 g) minced garlic
For topping (optional)
  • Sesame seeds
  • Chopped green onions
  • Sriracha

Method
 

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain, rinse, and (if desired) toss in a bit of oil to keep from sticking.
  2. Make the sauce by whisking together the Tojang Soybean paste, soy sauce, maple syrup and minced garlic.
  3. Transfer the cooked pasta to a large bowl and toss in the sauce. Serve immediately topped with sesame seeds and chopped green onion, if desired. Add some sriracha for an extra kick. (This dish can be served warm or at room temperature.)
