Method
- Melt butter in a small pan over low-medium heat.
- Add diced mushrooms and shallots (or onion) and mix. Cook covered for five minutes (stirring occasionally).
- Add flour and mix until flour is completely incorporated.
- Add rice milk and vegetable stock. Mix well.
- Next, add garlic powder and soy sauce. Bring to a boil and then let simmer for 10-15 minutes.
