This toffee bark is made with just five simple ingredients! It starts with a layer of graham crackers, then has a drizzle of 2-ingredient toffee, a layer of chocolate and finally some chopped nuts. It can even be made gluten-free by using gluten-free graham crackers.
Ingredients
You need just five ingredients for this recipe:
- vegan graham crackers – use gluten-free if desired
- vegan butter – we recommend using butter sticks
- brown sugar
- vegan chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
- chopped nuts of choice – we used walnuts
How to make this toffee bark
- Prepare. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and nonstick spray. Evenly spread the graham crackers among the baking sheet, creating two rows of 7 graham cracker sheets.
- Make the toffee. In a saucepan over low heat, add the butter and let it begin to melt. Add the brown sugar and stir while continuing to heat on low until butter is completely melted and the mixture is combined. Turn the heat to high until the mixture is boiling and let boil for ~30 seconds.
- Pour over graham crackers. Remove from heat and pour the mixture over the graham crackers. Use a rubber scraper to evenly spread overtop.
- Bake. Bake in the preheated oven for 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle the chocolate. Remove from the oven and evenly sprinkle the chocolate chips on top. Place back in the oven for another two minutes.
- Spread the chocolate. Once out of the oven, use the bottom of a spoon to spread the chocolate all over the crackers.
- Sprinkle the nuts. Sprinkle the nuts evenly on top.
- Chill and serve. Let the bark cool until firm. Break into pieces and enjoy!

Very good and very easy. I didn’t realize that it would take a while to set a room temp (or at least mine did) so I recommend putting it in the fridge after the pan cools if you’re impatient like me. I know it says to “cool” but the fridge part was not obvious to me if it was implied. So easy and so good!
